I started working on this project the same day my order arrived, I was so excited. The size and shapes compliment each other well. I ordered the optional paper and there were several patterns that would work for this large block. You could easily make the block reversible by using more than one pattern. This would allow you to change it up a bit. I applied the paper with mod podge and also used a small bit of varnish to the letters and the block before affixing the paper. This set was easy to sand with regular paper. It pairs well with the chunky stars. Order shipped fast and was well packaged, as always.
